Various things  
  • Something good happened yesterday, for once. I presented my project, and the teacher actually praised me! It's true that my work is far to be considered actually good, but it had some elements that made it different than other projects. I don't know, I felt really good after hearing my teacher.
  • About that, I actually had some luck; when I arrived to the classroom, there was nobody in there. But the teacher had said he was coming...so I decided to go to another place before coming back. When I was back, around 25 minutes later...the teacher was actually in there, alone, in a nearby classroom. So, not only I was able to present my project (it would have been troublesome to present it the following week), but also, the teacher might think better of me since I went to the class. Yay xD
  • I'm already resigned I won't get a good grade on tomorrow's exam; meaning that I'll fail that class. I just can't get properly the subjects, and my head has been too busy lately to actually feel like thinking or seriously studying at all. But I do have hope for next week's Physics exam; I really need to pass that class, anyways.
  • Currently, I have 2 packages coming on my way. I just hope my bad luck won't prevent them from actually arriving here...
  • And next week, my CD (you already know which one ;D) will be shipped. Totally waiting for that one.
  • Why is that so many people I know are been having such a bad time recently? I suspect November is a cursed month. And I really want to hug them all. Because, myself, I do need a hug. Like burning. xD
  • And...that's all for now, I guess ^^'

NaNo?  
So, we're already halfway through the month.

Oficially, how many of you are indeed taking the epic and tiring challenge of NaNoWriMo? How are you doing with that?
I allow you to spam me with happy comments, as I'm really needing them.

Me? Nah, not doing it this year xD Maybe next time? I have tons of things to do and I'm lacking the motivation to do any of them, and my creative side's busy planning for the Santa exchanges...

(Also, I'm accepting volunteers to smack me and get me a strong amnesia; there are several things I need to forget if I want to be able to study =P)

*runs away to keep trying to concentrate herself*

EDIT: My second letter arrived, and without the content as well. In the end, I lost $32, plus the shipping costs. Ahahahaha ~ *doesn't know if to laugh or to cry*

College T__T  
Being a 5th year student as I am, this might sound like a weird question xD
So according to my Physics teacher, to wake up early to study a couple of hours is actually more effective than studying until late night.
Those of you who study on early morning, would that be true? I've always been the kind who stays until REALLY late studying, but by then, I'm hardly understanding anything.
Anyways, I'm going to need as much help as possible. I'm close to fail on 2 classes this term...but I'm still missing an exam on each of them, and there's still a month left. And while I don't need a ridiculously high grade to approve, it's not a grade I usually get. And these are classes that are really my weakness.

My apathy doesn't help either. I remember back at August, when I really didn't feel like doing ANYTHING. And because of that, I had a hellish September. Now, I'm feeling more or less the same; I can stay randomly clicking the screen for a long time, or randomly lurking on LJ until realizing a good couple of hours have passed.

Yeah, I feel tired. But staying away from the Internet isn't really an option, since when I only have time for studying, that's when I really lose my sanity. I miss having time for myself; for now, I have to be satisfied with saving every page to my bookmarks, hoping to be able to see them...someday.

I hate studying, so much. You know, I wouldn't feel so bad if I had to do just the normal things: papers, homeworks, even lots of them, I wouldn't mind. But the feeling of having to be seated in front of  the same book for days, weeks, I can't stand it. To do tons of exercises, without even knowing if I'm doing the right thing...urgh.

I want my life back. I hate the feeling of being sitting here, while something is reminding me I have other things I should be doing T__T

Before doing homework...meme time!  
1) Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/bands etc. that you've had an obsessive fannish love or interest in at some time in your life.
2) Have your f-list guess your favorite character/member from each item.
3) When someone guesses correctly, strikethrough the item and put the name of your favorite character next to it.

Now this is hard. I like TOO MANY things, but there are a lot that I've liked for a long time without turning into a fannish thing (like Nodame, or Arina Tanemura's works). Also, please forgive my excess of anime fandoms >_< (and some really obscure, as well)

Multifandom Drabble Meme  
I GIVE UP, I'LL DO IT. (although I can't write anything until next Thursday)

Feel free to ask for any fandom on my profile, or MAL list, or...well; if I've watched/read it, I can write it!
As for pairings, well, I normally ship every canon pairing available...but if you're not sure, request anyway. If I don't feel like doing that pairing, I might do it platonic with some hints :)
There's just one exception. [info]ekhary , you're forbidden to ask for V - Vampires, Asch/Natalia 8DDDDD

Writer's rant (...as if I were to be one)  
I like to read from time to time what do writers feel about their stuff. I know well that a lot of authors have an education for writing; they're studying some language Major, for being teachers, even lots of them aim to be professional writers. And you can tell that when you read their stuff; the way they play with words, giving them a flow, a pace...a life on its own. It's also amazing when they talk about what's beyond the writing; their beliefs, visions of characters and their worlds...stuff that I'd usually never think.

Compared to that, I often feel that I'm not even worthy of being writing.

I hate not knowing what to do...  
Yey! More complains about real life T_T So, what's this time?

Let's see...the way I get money to buy all my shiny stuff, is working as a teaching assistant. Now, during the last year, I had some problems getting accepted (so, no money at all); but this semester, I got accepted for an important subject. Since it was hard to get, I want to stay here for as long as I can; and for that, I have to do it well! Not receiving any complains and such.

Now, here's the problem...I'm not alone. With me, there's another teaching assistant for the same subject; our classes are separated but we have to work together in order to create assignments. He's in charge of the first one, and I'm in charge of the second one. What means that he should be the one replying to the questions related to the first assignment.

But the guy has nothing but air on his head. His classes suck, and he hasn't even bothered to reply the questions.

I was talking with Dani (the girl who broke up with her boyfriend; she's much better now!) and she was saying to me that I shouldn't interfere; he's the responsible of this and he should do his work. I agreed, but...
...now the entire class is complaining and blaming not him, but BOTH of us. I'm not even responsible of this in first place!!! And I understand that in the end, this will only harm the people taking this subject; but I just can't go on replying because the one who must take the necessary decisions is the guy and not me T_T

And now my image is damaged and the teacher will receive complains about me T_T Why this had to happen to me...

Random musings  
Is there such thing as being too much of a fangirl? I've been thinking it for a while.
I often have problems to being taken seriously, and I think it's because of the sum of little things like my abuse of smilies, my squealing, that I often make silly mistakes (not just language ones) and comments and give unrequited opinions, I talk way too much about fandom stuff, etc.

It's not as if I don't have to deal with that problem enough IRL ò.oU For example, I was planning to do my internship in the capital city. But my entire family (that includes grandparents, uncles, etc) has said something like "To the capital, her?! And with that baby-face of her?! No way."
I know that I'm almost 23 and yet I don't resemble more than 15, thank you ò.oU But really, it's disgusting when you're judged only by appearance.

Sadly, appearance isn't something I can do much about it xDU And about my online behavior, as much as I'd like to be taken more seriously, I don't really want to change my fangirling ways; I feel confortable with them...

Help!  
I have this little problem. My sister has to write a story inspired in Edgar Allan Poe's books, and she asked for my help.
I accepted (the story's for a contest, and the prizes are really tempting! >D) but the truth is...that I've never read a Poe's book D8

So I need to read one to use as a reference. I want to grasp his style and the themes of his works. And that's where my f-list can help =D

Recommend me an Edgar Allan Poe book! Hopefully something short (no more than 200 or 300 pages), but more important, an entertaining or easy to read book.
Or...you can just pick whichever you want xD As long as you like it, it's OK for me.
